So I decided to try this out, too. Got this from Rome's blog. It's not entirely accurate, I think. I guess its up to the people who knows me to say. It's pretty long. Try it out and share your results!
Diane-Razel Diolanda Flores yes, I have a long name.
You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row. You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace. People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.
You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.
You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality.
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.
You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.
You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.
You are incredibly wise and perceptive. You have a lot of life experience. You are a natural peacemaker, and you are especially good at helping others get along. But keeping the peace in your own life is not easy. You see things very differently, and it's hard to get you to budge.
You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.
You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life. You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you. At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.
You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings. You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun. Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them.
You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.
If you know me, tell me which parts are true. If you'd like to try it out click here. Share your answers with me! If I know you, PLEASE DO! I want to see. lol
No. Well, that's Plan B. I really want to be a designer.
A designer, huh? What do designers do?
Ummm... design.
I see. You draw?
Yeah, but there's more to that.
You work with computers?
Yeah.. *gives up in explaining*
Yeah, it's hard to explain what designers do as simple as the occupation name is. We end up coming out as people who draw and use computers. haha! But designers have a big job because everything from man made to natural is designed.
[A designer is] an emerging synthesis of artist, inventor, mechanic, objective economist and evolutionary strategist.
I don't know how they did this. To me, it's lacking when it comes to USB port and optical drive but wow, this is great for people who don't use CDs anymore. I can see this isn't for everyone, but to people who travel a lot and loves bonding with wi-fi connections, this is incredible.
Once again, Steve Job left me .. WOWed. lol.
When I'm rich enough, I'll get a Macbook Air. (like, in my dreams. lol)
So the white on my walls is too white. Haha. The wall paint never changed ever since we moved into this house about 7 years ago. I really want to change it. But I'm no expert when it comes to interior decorating and paint. I've always wanted to paint it but I get scared to try. (lol) ANY Interior Design help will do. So yeah...
Help?

Yeah, my room is messy. -_-'' Btw, I share the room with my sister but she really doesn't mind if I take over with the decor and designing. =)
[edit]
Okay maybe showing little details in my room might help with the color choice, just maybe. lol
I like collecting buttons, especially from galleries. Most the buttons here I got from "One Inch Punch" event at Toronto. Some are random ones from school. Any of you want to trade? =) And yeah, that's my dad's old tie.
My bedside table. =)
IKEA much? haha! My dad picked the furniture and I'm not complaining.
New Lights!
by deeflores [comments?] I bought a new pendant light for my room. Yeah, it's from IKEA. It's cheap and modern so I went for it. I was going to buy one online but why pay more? =) I shall post up a picture here when it's up!
As the secretary of the group, I was called to hand out the ballots to the youth group. They sat scattered around the sanctuary, about 2 people in each pew. I handed it out and looked at the nominees and we all looked at each other with a confused expression painted on our faces. I was waiting for someone to say something... then someone raised their hand. And the confusion turned into a an outbreak of commotion. The youth president walked out, even.
So what happened was this...
At the end of 2007, the youth deacon who was in charge then told us that we are going to vote for our next officers. She told us to think really hard and pray for the it because voting for the right person is crucial in any group. So we did. We took it seriously and we given the task to nominate people in certain positions.
Today, when we saw the ballot, the people on it were NOT the same people we nominated. This was confirmed by the present Youth President because he had the list of the people who we nominated. Then we found out that the NEW youth deacon decided to wave our opinions in choosing our leader and chose the people that we should vote for. When we stood up and said what we had to say, we were told that we were suppose to respect the leader's choice. BUT... what about respecting the people in the group? What about respecting us? The discussion took longer than it was suppose to since both the past deacon and the present one were not there (due to a family death). To show our respect for the leader, we decided to go on with the voting.
So what do we feel about this?
NOT GOOD.
We felt very belittled by this. It was like we don't know how to chose our leader that the deacon decided to forget about our opinions. First of all, we did take this seriously. Our youth group is really close with each other, especially right now. We do Bible devotions together for us to at least know where people stand in their spiritual life. We know each other more than the youth deacon knows us since he doesn't even talk to us much. How are we going to learn to take responsibilities as the future of the church when things are pretty much decided for us now? I find this totally unfair.
Even though we are youth, we have a say. We are part of the church, too.
Not too long ago, I attended a family jam and the cousins were gathered up in the kitchen. While we were talking, one of my cousins started yelling bad things about Macs and was kind of throwing the words toward my direction. (RIGHT?)
I can't hide it, ok? I do love my Mac. But for some reason people think they can hurt my feelings by saying bad things about Macs or Apple in general. And just because I am amazed by the brains of Steve Jobs' team, doesn't mean I'm in love with Mister-black-turtleneck-and-jeans guy. But I have reasons to love my Mac.
Let's just put it this way. We all have favorite tees or jeans. We like to wear them because they fit nicely; they don't make us look too skinny or fat. Or maybe it just feels nice on the skin. But whatever the reason may be, whether other people don't like them, we just love wearing them. Same thing with my Mac. I use it because it fits well with what I need and want. It just feels nice using it compare to any other computers. And I admit, it's a little bothersome to hear people (*ehem* Pao) bad things about it, but I still like it. OKAY? This isn't about what is better in general because I admit, Macs have their shortcomings, too. (ie. Games and SD card ports, lol). I just work well with Macs. I have nothing against PCs and Bill Gates (but you have to admit, there's something about Steve Ballmer that's just plaindisturbing.) I do like having both systems in my house. =)
So okay, alright, I get it. Just because you don't know how to use a Mac, you hate it. Alright! Now let me be with my Mac.
MINSAN LANG NATIN MAKIKITA SI CHARO, mga ka-peeps!
Ayaw na ngang pumunta sa simbahan tapos di pa natin sisiputin sa birthday niya? Oh my. Wala na... excited pa naman ako. Todo todo text messaging ko kahit sumobrasobra bills ko sa Fido.
Well, well, well... why didn't I think of that? Haha!
A sofa bed that converts to a bunk bed. Yes! You read it right. I really want to see this work face-to-bed. (haha!) It was created by a UK company that I guess specializes in beds. They're called BonBon Trading Ltd. I'm not sure if it's available in North America right now. Don't know if they ship here, either.
I am so tired of doing things on my own. I realized that no matter how much I try, my thoughts, my words, my love, my everything is simply nothing. As in, NOTHING. They're not even worthy of being compared to you. What makes it worse is that whenever I attempt to fix anything, I end up getting myself in deeper struggles, deeper dilemmas, deeper sufferings. And I know I am guilty of blaming things on you. I'm so sorry, I understand now that I have no right. Just because you have this exceeding wisdom and knowledge doesn't mean you can zap me an easier life even when I'm practically running away from you, when I'm not letting work your way in me. I'm so sorry, so very sorry. I know you've been watching and I hope you see it, that I am doing my best to be right behind you all the way. I'm not perfect, you know I won't even get close, but I want to please you. This may sound blunt but I'm not going to hide it. I want you to know that I've fallen in love with you. I've liked you for a long time, but not like this. I've never seen a love so full, you ask nothing in return. I've failed you so much, yet you walk with me through everything. I know I've hurt you so many times that sometimes I don't even notice, it kinda became habitual. I end up picking up broken promises all the time. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to make you feel good. This is no weak infatuation. I am so in love with you. I want to give you all, like what you have done for me. I don't know why I didn't notice it before. But you keep on coming back no matter how much I've pushed you away. You embrace even the worst in me! You're so good! I don't know how you do it, I don't know how you put up with my stupidity, but you do and I am so thankful.
It was "all about me" for a long time and as ironic as it may sound, it didn't feel good. This time, I want my life to have a purpose and I want it to be you. Only You. Because I've put my life in the hands of others yet they always fail me. But you... you've never dropped me yet. I trust with my life that you won't ever drop me. So I'll fall and give everything up but you. I just hope that everything I have, even when its nothing, even when its unworthy, I hope you accept it. I want to be completely yours, Jesus.
Yes, they are real images, no Photoshop whatsoever. But the photographs lie - its a look alike of Bill Gates. These images were take by Alison Jackson.
"Why can't you make it through the checkout line without flipping through page after page of pregnant celebs in Us magazine? Alison Jackson knows why. And she photographs the people you think you recognize doing what you really want to see." - TED.COM
The old layout has been up for a long time. And I got tired of looking at it. Haha. Well, not really but I think it's time for a change - hopefully, a good one.
Yes, I will miss you. You were great to me. (gosh, it's not like it has feelings or anything) PinkTonic liked you, too. =)
Etsy.Com
by deeflores [4 comments] So I decided to try Etsy.com out. I have been eying on a lot of things there. I bought something small from a shop called Coonies Handpainted Gifts. And I totally loved the packaging. I probably loved it more than the actual product.
I've been hearing a lot of complains saying that Valentine's Day is just a commercial gimmick. I can't argue with that, retail stores decorate their windows with hearts and whatever relates to "love" when February hits the year. And some people just don't believe in Valentine's Day anymore. *ehem* Angel? (lol) Fair enough, I'll just call in Couples Appreciation Day.
Whatever the origin of Valentine's Day is, I still think that its nice to have another special day in a year just to appreciate our partner. Come to think of it, we're all looking for love, consciously or not, romantic or not. So why not dedicate a whole day for it. =)
So dear friends. What should I get Pao? haha!
I already got him something but I want to add something to it. =)
Right now, we have a class activity to take pictures around campus. Not just any picture, it has to be a documentary picture - a real photo. Right now, I feel like a stalker taking pictures of random students. I feel bad about pointing a camera at someone right now. Ah! I can't do this!
I shall post up my stalker pictures later tonight.
Ah... Photography class.
[edit]
Here we go! They're not that great. It came out dark due to the lack of lights around the school. I also need to get used to using the manual setting of my digital camera. =( Brighten up the screens, that might help. lol.
